Job Summary
Manages the preparation, tracking, and submission of RMMCO packages to support NIWC C4I ship installation and alteration pre-planning efforts. Oversees documentation including ILS certifications, SCDs, MOAs, POA&Ms, and SOVTs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with RMMCO requirements. Utilizes NDE, SPIDER, and RMMCO databases to research, update, and validate data related to certifications, approvals, engineering changes, and software deliveries. Prepares and delivers RMMCO binders and electronic backups for shipboard use while coordinating with stakeholders to resolve maturity issues and maintain readiness for ship installations.
Responsibilities and Duties
Responsible for preparing and managing all RMMCO packages to support RMMCO check-in and electronic check-in/check-out prescreening. Creates complete AIT RMMCO packages (8–10 files per submission) including ILS certifications, Ship Change Documents (SCDs), Authorizations, MBPS files, POA&Ms, and related documentation. Tracks ILS certifications and SCD approvals in NDE, updates the AP database using SPIDER pulls, and maintains validation reports in support of NIWC C4I pre-planning efforts. Independently researches SOVTs in SPIDER, organizes SOVT documentation into installation package folders, and monitors maturity issues and message traffic related to NIWC ship installations. Prepares and delivers RMMCO binders, including CD backups, for ship OSIC requirements. Additionally, generates and tracks MOAs, monitors Ship Alts, Field Changes, Engineering Changes, and Software Delivery statuses in NDE, SPIDER, and RMMCO databases to support NIWC C4I alteration pre-planning.
Qualifications and Skills
Required knowledge and years of experience
Must have at least eight (8) years of experience. Must be knowledgeable with Database Management and familiar with SPIDER, NDE, ILS, MOAs, RMMCO. Must be familiar with MS Office experience including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Must be able to take direction and work independently
Education Requirements
High School diploma, U.S. Navy C4I background is preferred
Certifications
CDMD-OA certification is a plus, Active Security Clearance.
